You’re taking a step, in the midst of all this chaos, to feel a little deeper, love a little harder, and connect to people and the world around us in ways you’ve never done before. When you buy a Flowjo box, you’re not just buying a card deck, you’re taking a stance against the world so focussed on self improvement that we’ve lost our self in the process.
#Flowjo purchase skin
It’s about re-grounding ourselves, loving the skin were in, and enjoying every second we are allowed on this beautiful earth. Using our hearts to guide us, instead of our brains.įlowjo isn’t just about following a card, it isn’t just about finishing a box - It is a decision we make to get more out of the life we have right now, and in this moments. It was meant as a starting point: a way for us to get back to the flow of nature, connecting with eachother instead of Wi-Fi. The list wasn’t about sky diving and visiting x countries it was a list of little, small moments that we can re-create in our homes and communities all around the world. And that’s how the first bucket list was created. So when I got home, I pulled out a notebook and start writing all the things that I wish I could have done on that beach or just fun things I could do with my family and friends. It made me want more for them and myself. I looked around and noticed that so many people had their nose in a phone, missing out on the opportunity to share a moment with her friends and family around them. It wasn’t till I sat on the beach one day, my phone dead beside me, annoyed that I wasn’t able to “DO anything” that I had my aha moment. the result is was that I lost time I could have spent having fun with friends or my partner, spending time with family or just having the incredible moments you have or the creative moments you have when you’re bored or when you don’t have every aspect of your life planned out. I wasted years not trying to better myself but telling myself “I will be happy when I better myself in x way”. Get the right job, find the right place to live, be the productive, good looking, funny, entrepreneur that does everything right and still manages to find time to bake banana bread.Īnd while I did do many of those things, I realize that this heads down, get ‘er done mindset wasted a lot of years. For as long as I can remember I have tried to be a better version of myself.
